We are still building our tiny community here in Manitou Springs, but we are ready and experienced to lead children's virtue classes, junior youth empowerment programs, study groups and lead service projects. We are also well connected to the wider Colorado Baha'i Community and all the programs they offer.
Baha'is are making a difference around the world. This Faith is one of the most global communities working to unite neighborhoods while preserving cultural diversity.
Our goal is to find like minded groups also working to make an impact in their community and work along side of them.

Our all ages Children's Classes is inclusive to all faiths and philosophies. The curriculum will focus on developing virtues and concepts on the oneness of humanity, building unified communities and building bridges of peace. We will leverage all the arts, including music, craft and drama as well as service projects.
We welcome parents to assist with planning and teaching if they want. If you just need a break, that works too! Classes start at 3pm and wrap up between 4:15-4:30. Classes on virtues will come from the Ruhi Institute, Book 3.
At 5pm we have our community dinner, devotions and games. We welcome you to stay and enjoy the fellowship and fun!
1. Humanity is One Family: In this lesson the children will learn the concept of the oneness of humanity and the elimination of prejudices of all kinds. "The earth is but one country and mankind its citizens".
2. Purposefulness: Human beings were created noble with a high purpose to know God, reflect virtues, and contribute to an ever advancing civilization.
3. Building Vibrant Communities: In this lesson the children will learn how important their role is in building vibrant and happy neighborhoods and communities. We will learn kinds of actions and service we can do everyday to make this a reality.
4. Social Responsibility: Individuals act in ways that positively impact society, local community, and advance humankind.
5. Making Unity a Reality: The children will learn the power of unity " So powerful is the light of Unity it can illumine the whole earth" We will learn ways to create unity and restore it in everyday living.
6. Embracing & Valuing Diversity: Exploring the global family, unity in diversity, embracing and valuing diversity of backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives as essential to the human family
7. Contentment as Radiance and Submission: In this lesson, the children will learn that contentment means being happy with what they have and the Will of God.
8. The Oneness of Religion: In this lesson the children will explore the concept that all religion is part of one great truth. The idea that God has given us many great teachers so we can understand our purpose and how to be close to God ( Abraham, Moses, Christ, Muhammad, Buddah, Baha'u'llah, etc...)
9. Orderliness: Physical order, cleanliness, and organization reflects inner spiritual refinement and create peace and efficiency in our daily lives.
10. Obedience: Following Divine Laws as spiritual gifts that guide us toward true happiness and spiritual protection, much like a lighthouse guiding a ship away from dangerous rocks.

If you have children, we also have a small selection of fun books on the bottom shelf to keep them busy.
Baha'is believe in investigation of truth for one's self. We do not have clergy. Each individual must interpret scripture for themselves. If you DO want to visit, feel free to ring the bell and if someone is home we are always happy to visit or simply pray together.
