All Ages Children's Class

We welcome parents to assist with planning and teaching if they want. If you just need a break, that works too!  Classes start at 3pm and wrap up between 4:15-4:30. Classes on virtues will come from the Ruhi Institute, Book 3.

At 5pm we have our community dinner, devotions and games. We welcome you to stay and enjoy the fellowship and fun!

1.  Humanity is One Family: In this lesson the children will learn the concept of the oneness of humanity and the elimination of prejudices of all kinds. "The earth is but one country and mankind its citizens".  

2. The Power of Prayer:  In this lesson the children will learn how to create a spiritual and peaceful atmosphere, how to feel reverence in their heart and connect with their spirit.

3. Building Vibrant Communities:  In this lesson the children will learn how important their role is in building vibrant and happy neighborhoods and communities. We will learn kinds of actions and service we can do everyday to make this a reality.

4.  Justice:  In this lesson we will learn the importance of justice and equality for all humanity. What it means to work towards fairness and respect for all people.  How to be lovingly courageous when see someone being mistreated.

5. Making Unity a Reality: The children will learn the power of unity " So powerful is the light of Unity it can illumine the whole earth" We will learn ways to create unity and restore it in everyday living.

6. The Power of Love:  The children will learn about love from God, love for each other and love for our community.  They will learn that love is shown through deeds, not words.

7. The Oneness of Religion:  In this lesson the children will explore the concept that all religion is part of one great truth. The idea that God has given us many great teachers so we can understand our purpose and how to be close to God ( Abraham, Moses, Christ, Muhammad, Buddah, Baha'u'llah, etc...)

8. Truthfulness: The children will learn that "truthfulness is the foundation of all human virtues".   They will learn about consequences of not being truthful, and how all other virtues are dependent on this one most powerful virtue.

9. Generosity: We will learn the power and joy that comes from practicing  generosity.  We will explore ways to be generous in our homes, at our school and in our community.

10. Selflessness: In this lesson we will learn how to put others before ourselves and how to give without expectation of receiving. The power of putting other joy and happiness before our own.
